When we plan our dives we very often forget the islands just off the UK coastline which have some excellent dives suitable for everyone. Two miles off the coast of Portsmouth and across the Solent is one such island – the Isle of Wight. Although much has been written about diving around the Isle of Wight, the island remains something of a ‘best kept secret’ with very few divers from the mainland venturing there.
