The ‘Graveyard of the Atlantic’, as the Outer Banks of North Carolina is known, plays host to a remarkable 2,000-plus wrecks, the vast majority in 30-35m. Most dives are around a one-and-a-half hour to two-hour trip away, the boats leaving Moorhead at a brisk 7am.
