can anyone give some advice on where to dive and stay in cuba, plan to go in march 09 for two weeks, thanks, mike.

Hi Mike Have been to Cuba twice. 1st trip was to Jibacoa (between Varadero & Havana)2nd trip to Guardalavaca (about 500 km east of Havana) both trips were excellent for diving and relaxing, if your not into diving there are usually trips out for sight seeing etc. All the locals I have met were very friendly even managed to sell a dive watch whilst there. My partner does not dive but always found plenty to do, as most of the deep dives are done in the morning it usually left us the rest of the day for chilling out. Have a good time.
