XL goes bust

It couldn't have been a closer shave. Just yesterday a mate of mine was supposed to be booking a group of us on a holiday to El Gouna in Egypt next February. Knowing this was likely to be on the popular airline XL, when I heard the news this morning the company had gone bust I was straight on the phone to him. It turned out we HAD been due to fly with XL, but he hadn't got round to booking it. Thankfully we were one of the lucky ones and have been able to make alternative plans. Unfortunately it seems thousands of others won't be so lucky.
