DEMA finally done

Well, it has been a gruelling show, and I must have covered many miles. After 27 miles at Orlando last year, I must have been near 30 this time around.
Saw some more nice new gear - Mares has released the world's first carbon fibre regulator. The second stage is very light, as you'd expect, but you will pay a premium for the privilege.
The Mares regs from a certain price bracket, and Aqualung, all utilise Miflex hoses, proving that these items have made a huge impact in the short time they have been around. Roll on the hi-pressure version...
Aqualung have released a version of the Pearl BCD with a 'normal' hose and power inflator, other than the innovative i3 system, which is sure to please devotees of the original Diva.
Custom Divers have launched a DSMB which incorporates a panel of radar reflective material, so divers in the water can be located using radar. It can be inflated in four different ways, and is a great piece of safety equipment.
PADI have released another version of the eRDP, and this one replaces the Wheel, allowing divers to quickly and easily plan multi-level dives.
Next year is Orlando, so we will have to wait and see what the manufacturers can come up with for us in a year's time.
Next weekend is the Dive 2008 show in Birmingham, so if you are coming, drop by our booth and catch up with what we are doing.
