DEMA, Las Vegas

Well, it is that time of year again, when I put my liver on the line to attend the annual DEMA (Diving Equipment and Manufacturers Assocation) show in the States.

This takes place in Orlando and Las Vegas, alternating locations on a yearly basis. The last two years it has been in Orlando, so this is the first time back in Sin City since 2006 - gulp!

The show runs over four days and boasts hundreds of booths. Being trade only, many manufacturers use DEMA as a launch pad for new gear, so to this end I will be doing a daily blog next week bringing you all that is new and exciting in the world of diving.

Plus, as the dive industry knows how to work hard and play hard, I will report on all the after-hours nonsense that follows a tough day on the show floor!
